Social assistance and support services

At the level of the Ploiești public administration, legal measures are continuously taken to improve the quality of life of social categories in difficulty or disadvantaged.

The public policies of the Ploiești municipality are focused mainly on preventing and combating social marginalisation and exclusion, as well as on developing individual and group capacities to achieve social cohesion and inclusion. 

The social assistance measures adopted by the local public authority are implemented, primarily, through the Community Social Services Administration Ploiești (Administrația Serviciilor Sociale Comunitare), an institution subordinated to the Ploiești Local Council.
