Modified Public Transport Routes on 1 December 2025 in Ploiești

On 1 December 2025, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the events celebrating “Romania’s National Day” will take place. As a result, traffic will be closed in the roundabout at the “St. John the Baptist” Cathedral, and the local public transport routes in Ploiești will be modified as follows:

Routes 1 and 30: in the southbound direction they will run normally up to Piața Mihai Viteazul, then on Gh. Doja St. (with a stop at Piața Mihai Viteazul), Văleni St., Emile Zola St. (with a stop at Hale-Catedrală), Erou Călin Cătălin St., Ștefan Greceanu St., Nicolae Bălcescu St., Gh. Lazăr St., Piața Victoriei, B-dul Independenței, and then continuing on the normal route, with the corresponding stops. The Piața Mihai Viteazul stop on B-dul Republicii and the Galeriile Comerciale stop will not be served.

In the northbound direction, normal route up to the intersection with Gh. Lazăr St., then Gh. Lazăr St., Nicolae Bălcescu, Ștefan Greceanu St., Erou Călin Cătălin St., Emile Zola St., and then the normal route. All stops along the way will be served.

Routes 7 and 22 barred:in the direction towards Dorobanțul/Bariera Unirii, from Tache Ionescu St. they will run along: Piața Victoriei, Gh. Lazăr, Dr. Bagdasar, and then the normal route. The Hale – Catedrală stop will no longer be served.

In the direction towards Rudului St./ Auchan, from Armoniei St. left onto Nicolae Bălcescu St., Gh. Lazăr St., Gabi Dobre St. (with a stop at Jurnalist Gabi Dobre), C.T. Grigorescu St., Kutuzov St., Mărășești St., Rudului St., I.L. Caragiale St., Gh. Gr. Cantacuzino St., and from the intersection with Trei Ierarhi Street, the usual route.

All stops along the way will be served. The Hale – Coreco stop will no longer be served.

Route 32 short: in the southbound direction, from Emile Zola Street it will run along: Erou Călin Cătălin, Ștefan Greceanu, Nicolae Bălcescu, Gh. Lazăr, Piața Victoriei, B-dul Independenței, and then the normal route, with the corresponding stops.

In the direction towards Hale, from Prahova Value Centre it will run along Democrației St., Ștefan cel Mare St., Nicolae Bălcescu St., Ștefan Greceanu St., Romană St., Gh. Doja St., Văleni St., Carpați St., Emile Zola St. All stops along the way will be served.

Route 39 barred: in the direction towards Hale – Catedrală, from Tache Ionescu St. it will run along the streets: C. D. Gherea, Ștefan Greceanu, Romană, Gh. Doja, Văleni, Carpați, Emile Zola.

In the direction towards Cartier Vest, from Emile Zola St. it runs along Erou Călin Cătălin, Ștefan Greceanu, C. D. Gherea, Tache Ionescu, I. L. Caragiale, Gh. Gr. Cantacuzino, then the usual route.

Routes 35 and 35 barred: are shortened to Faredo. Route 35, from I. L. Caragiale Street, will run along: Rudului, Mărășești, Lobacevschi, Tudor Vladimirescu, and then the usual route.

Route 8: in the direction towards Bolovani Cemetery, from Emile Zola St. it runs along Erou Călin Cătălin, Ștefan Greceanu, C. D. Gherea, Tache Ionescu, and then the normal route.

In the direction towards Hale – Catedrală, from Tache Ionescu St. it will run along C.D. Gherea, Ștefan Greceanu, Romană, Gh. Doja, Văleni, Carpați, Emile Zola.

Route 402: in the direction towards AFI Palace, after the Zimbrului stop it will continue along the streets: Gh. Gr. Cantacuzino (with stops at Popa Fărcaș and Logofăt Tăutu), I.L. Caragiale, Tache Ionescu, C. D. Gherea, Ștefan Greceanu, Romană, Gh. Doja, and then the normal route.

The Nicolae Titulescu, Traian and Șc.4 stops will not be served.

In the direction towards Lămâița, from Gh. Doja St. it will run along the streets: Romană, Ștefan Greceanu, C. D. Gherea, Tache Ionescu, I.L. Caragiale, Gh. Gr. Cantacuzino, and then the normal route.

The trolleybuses on routes 44S and 202S will be replaced by buses between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

In the direction towards the Centre, route 202S runs normally to Cuza Vodă St. (with a stop in the BRD area, instead of Hale Coreco), while route 44S runs normally to the intersection with Podul Înalt St., then Gh. Gr. Cantacuzino (with stops at Popa Fărcaș and Logofăt Tăutu), I.L. Caragiale, Vlad Țepeș, Cuza Vodă (with a stop in the BRD area). On route 44S the Traian, School 4 and Hale Coreco stops will no longer be served.

In the opposite direction, from Cuza Vodă Street, they will run along Vasile Lupu Street, and then the usual route.

Please note that tickets validated on trolleybuses will also be valid on the buses running between Centru and Gara Sud, during the period when the trolleybus lines are shortened 44 and 202.

Likewise, tickets used on buses on the Gara de Sud – Centru route remain valid on the trolleybuses running towards Malu Roșu and Podul Înalt.

Depending on the directions of the Traffic Police, both the time interval and the specified detour routes may be modified.
