The Ploiești municipality supports citizens with the removal of plant waste resulting from spring cleaning

Ploiești City Hall informs citizens that, in the context of the spring works carried out by the residents of our city during this period, it is supporting them in clearing the public domain of the plant material resulting from these works.

In this context, the two commercial companies that have such activities among their responsibilities – S.C. Servicii de Gospodărire Urbană S.R.L. Ploiești and the Autonomous Public Services Authority (Regia Autonomă de Servicii Publice) – will combine their efforts so that our city welcomes the new season clean and well-maintained.

We would also like to remind, in this way, all those who are carrying out, during these days, pruning works on trees and on the hedge that the plant waste resulting from these activities cannot be deposited at random on the public domain.

Thus, in the case of the gardens located at the ground floor of apartment blocks, as well as in the case of the courtyards of education units, parks and other institutions in the municipality, the resulting plant material will be gathered into compact piles, to be collected periodically, according to a pre-established schedule, by SGU Ploiești representatives. Requests can be sent to the City Hall Dispatch by calling 0244 984.

In the case of private properties, the plant waste resulting from tree pruning will be collected for a fee, by the local sanitation operator, following direct requests from citizens registered at telephone numbers 021 9640 or 0244 933.

Please note that the abandonment on public roads of bulky waste or waste resulting from home repairs or renovations is prohibited. At the same time, we remind citizens that representatives of the Ploiești Local Police (Poliția Locală) will carry out periodic checks throughout the city, with a view to detecting and sanctioning, in accordance with the law, those who deposit waste on the public domain in places other than those specially designated!
