The Ploiești municipality continuously oversees and monitors, through the Autonomous Public Services Authority (Regia Autonomă de Servicii Publice), the city’s waste-management system, including the way waste is sorted in households and stored in dedicated facilities.
In this context, we inform residents that across Ploiești there are containers for the collection of textile waste, made available by the local operator of this sanitation service.
Locations where textile-waste collection containers are installed:
- B-dul București at the intersection with B-dul Petrolului;
- South Railway Station – Winmarkt Big Shopping Centre;
- Coreco Hale stop – Halele Centrale;
- Complex Mare Nord;
- str. Malu Roșu at the intersection with str. Aviatorilor;
- Vest district – Șoseaua Vestului (former Cinema Modern);
- str. Domnișori at the intersection with str. Libertății;
- str. Mihai Bravu at the intersection with str. Chimiei;
- Bucov Roundabout – str. Poștei at the intersection with Ștrandului street (next to the Moll filling station).
Citizens are kindly asked to use these containers exclusively for textile waste and to follow the rules of selective collection, thereby contributing to environmental protection and to keeping the city clean.
