Temporary measures regarding road traffic restrictions and traffic management on Laboratorului and Poligonului Streets
The Comisia Municipală pentru Transport și Siguranța Circulației (Municipal Commission for Transport and Traffic Safety) has decided to introduce temporary measures regarding road traffic restrictions and the safeguarding of traffic safety, in the context of the works for the project “Breakthrough of Laboratorului Street as an extension of Gh. Gr. Cantacuzino Street, including the rerouting of utility networks”, starting Friday – 27.03.2026, until Thursday – 02.04.2026.
Accordingly, the following measures have been taken:
- traffic management will be provided with the support of the Local Police throughout the duration of the works;
- road traffic will be closed on Laboratorului and Poligonului Streets, 70 m from the newly created roundabout;
- road signs with the meaning “Dead End” will be installed on Laboratorului and Poligonului Streets, at the intersections with Vestului Road and Republicii Boulevard;
- on Laboratorului Street, access from Gh. Gr. Cantacuzino Street to the dead-end road is maintained (cold storage facilities area), with the following arrangement:
– access from Poligonului Street will be restricted;
– access to the dead-end road will be carried out alternately, via the newly built thoroughfare, throughout the duration of the works.
These measures are necessary for the works to be carried out safely and to prevent road incidents.
The contractor will provide appropriate signalling for the area, in accordance with current regulations.
The Traffic Office of the Ploiești Municipal Police and the Ploiești Local Police will monitor compliance with this decision and will ensure the closure/regulation of traffic in the access areas that will be restricted.
