The Ploiești City Hall awarded prizes today to the 70 students declared winners at the “Lessons with Nichita” Regional Contest, an established educational event now in its 15th edition. The award ceremony for the winners took place at the headquarters of the “Nichita Stănescu” National College in Ploiești.
This year, 350 high school students entered the competition, demonstrating interest and creativity in addressing the proposed themes. The regional contest included 4 sections in which the students entered, namely: drawing, photography, film, and translation in English/French/German.
Following the evaluation of the works, 70 of the participants were declared winners across the contest categories. Of these, 50 students come from Ploiești schools.
The prizes awarded today by the Ploiești municipality had a total value of 5,000 lei, granted in order to encourage and reward the performance and involvement of young people in such educational and cultural activities.
The “Lessons with Nichita” Regional Contest continues to be an important educational project, intended to promote young people’s values, certainly contributing to the development of a competitive spirit and their passion for culture.
