Primăria municipiului Ploiești (Ploiești City Hall) informs citizens, in the context of the extremely low temperatures recorded these days, that the Centrul Social de Urgență pentru Persoane fără Adăpost (Emergency Social Centre for Homeless Persons), located in Ploiești, at Bulevardul Petrolului No. 8A, managed by A.S.S.C. Ploiești, supports persons in difficulty so that they may safely get through this period.

The centre provides this social category with 44 places of accommodation, overnight (a period that may also be extended during the day, in case of very low temperatures), with the note that the number of these places may be supplemented up to 60 should the situation require it.

Given the extremely low temperatures recorded these days, the centre’s representatives support these homeless persons by providing them not only with a place where they can safely spend a period in which temperatures have dropped extremely low, but also with a hot tea or, depending on donations, a meal that certain charitable organisations or private individuals may offer them.

We also note that the Emergency Social Centre for Homeless Persons may host citizens of the municipality of Ploiești or, where applicable, for 7 days, other persons from localities in our county who are in the area.

According to the information provided by the representatives of this centre, at this time, 30 persons are accommodated here, in conditions of full safety.

The Ploiești municipality stands by the citizens of Ploiești, regardless of the social category they come from, ensuring safe and decent conditions for their daily life.
