PARTY RETROLOGIA and fireworks organised by Ploiești City Hall, on the occasion of the New Year!

Primăria municipiului Ploiești (Ploiești City Hall) invites you to celebrate, together, the arrival of the New Year, at a festive event specially prepared by the municipality for the people of Ploiești, on the night of 31 December 2025 – 1 January 2026.

This year’s programme meets the wishes of the great majority of our community and will bring to the stage specially set up in the Palatul Culturii car park lots of positive energy, joy and an enthusiasm we hope will be contagious for all participants.

The festive evening will take place under the title PARTY RETROLOGIA, a concept that harmoniously combines the retro atmosphere with the modern energy of a live music show, in which DJ iuLio, one of the most appreciated artists of the moment, will invite and engage those present to sing and dance along with the guests in a dynamic show, with well-known hits and special moments prepared for this occasion.

At the transition between the years, the city’s sky will be lit by a spectacular fireworks display, organised under conditions of maximum safety. The pyrotechnic show will last about 10 minutes and will mark the beginning of a new year that we hope will be full of hope and fulfilled dreams.

We are therefore looking forward to seeing you, starting at 22:00, in the area of the Palatul Culturii Ploiești, to spend, together, a memorable evening!

We remind you that admission is free and that the organisers have prepared special measures for the safety and comfort of participants. In this context, road traffic will be restricted as follows:

Wednesday, 31 December 2025, 23:00 – Thursday, 1 January 2026, 01:00, road traffic will be stopped on the following streets:

  • Bd. Republicii, (the Vasile Milea St. – Tache Ionescu St. section);
  • C. D. Gherea St., (the Bd. Republicii – Basarabilor St. section).

We want this evening to be a moment of joy for the entire community. We invite all the people of Ploiești to join us to welcome together the year 2026 with confidence, optimism and positive energy!
