Over 24 million lei for the modernisation of educational establishments in Ploiești

Primăria Municipiului Ploiești (Ploiești City Hall) has launched two public procurements aimed at ensuring a safe educational environment in educational establishments!

The first public procurement, conducted through a simplified procedure, concerns the Ploiești municipality’s project “Current Repairs to Pre-University Education Units in the Municipality of Ploiești: LOT 1 – Colleges/High Schools, LOT 2 – Schools, LOT 3 – Kindergartens and Crèches”.

Each year, the Ploiești public administration allocates funds for carrying out current repair works at pre-university education units.

These works are carried out periodically, with the aim of ensuring normal and safe operating conditions for the buildings in which educational activity takes place, as well as the proper maintenance of these buildings and their related installations.

To this end, works that may include the following are required:

  • replacement or modernisation of electrical, heating and sanitary installations;
  • sanitation works;
  • repairs to terraces and roofs;
  • refurbishment of fences;
  • any other interventions necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the educational process.

Repair works at pre-university education units represent a necessary undertaking for the protection of public assets and for ensuring an appropriate learning environment for pupils and teaching staff.

Lot 1 of this public procurement refers to “Current Repairs to Pre-University Education Units in the Municipality of Ploiești – Colleges/High Schools”.
Lot 2 covers “Current Repairs to Pre-University Education Units in the Municipality of Ploiești – Schools”.
Lot 3 includes “Current Repairs to Pre-University Education Units in the Municipality of Ploiești – Kindergartens and Crèches”.

The total estimated value of the procurement is 21,366,739.76 lei, excluding VAT.

The second public procurement, conducted through a simplified procedure, initiated by Ploiești City Hall, has as its subject the investment project regarding “Execution of works (including design services, technical assistance from the designer and technical verification) for the objective «Yard Refurbishment at the Kindergarten on Poștei St. No. 23»”.

The deadline for the submission of bids is 22.01.2026.

The total estimated value of the procurement is 3,183,675.52 lei, excluding VAT.

We remind you that, through a recent investment carried out by the Ploiești municipality, the Kindergarten on Poștei St. No. 23 currently benefits from a new building, a modern space, ensuring an optimal educational setting for preschool children and teaching staff.

The new public procurement, launched by the Ploiești public administration, is aimed at carrying out refurbishment works in the yard of the educational establishment at Poștei St., No. 23, as follows:

  • Playground, with a poured anti-trauma surface (tartan), equipped with playground equipment for the 2 age groups, 2-3 years and 4-6 years.
    To enhance the safety of children during outdoor activities, the play area will be fitted with a fence on a metal frame with brightly coloured wooden slats.
  • Pavilion on a wooden frame;
  • Vertical site preparation;
  • Site fencing – metal-frame fence with metal panels;
  • Concrete platform for the storage of household waste, fitted with welded mesh fencing;
  • Parking spaces;
  • Refurbishment of green spaces inside the site, equipped with an irrigation system.

Ploiești City Hall pays particular attention to educational infrastructure, considering investments in the maintenance of schools a priority for the Ploiești community.
