NOTIFICATION OF THE PUBLIC SOCIAL ASSISTANCE SERVICE FOR THE DELEGATION OF PARENTAL AUTHORITY
The target audience for the delegation of parental rights is: the sole supporting parent or both parents who have left or are about to leave to work abroad and who are required to notify our service of this and to designate a person from the extended family to take care of the child(ren) remaining in the country.
The parent who exercises parental authority alone or with whom the child resides, and who is about to leave to work abroad, has the obligation to notify the public social assistance service of their place of residence at least 40 days before leaving the country.
The notification must mandatorily include the designation of the person who will take care of the child during the absence of the parents or guardian, as applicable.
The parent who exercises parental authority alone or with whom the child has resided, and who is working abroad, has the obligation to immediately submit to the public social assistance service of their place of residence the notification regarding the designation of the person who will take care of the child during their absence.
