Issuance of the Electronic Identity Card (CEI)
Starting 01.08.2025, applications for the issuance of the Electronic Identity Card (CEI) are accepted and processed by any local public service for population records, regardless of residence, except for cases requiring on-site checks by the Police.
Obligation: apply for a new identity document within 15 days of any change in civil status data (marriage, divorce, name change, etc.).
