TREE TRIMMING

The approval for the felling and trimming of trees is obtained within a maximum of 30 days from the submission of the application.  The approved works are carried out according to scheduling.

Approval fee 32 lei, in accordance with Local Council Decision no. 57/28.02.2025

What is the applicable legislation?

  • HCL no. 34/2004 and HCL no. 56/2006 on granting approvals for the felling and trimming of trees within the Ploiești municipality
  • HCL no. 57/28.02.2023 approving the rates and prices applied by SC Servicii de Gospodărire Urbană Ploiești SRL with the impact of the hourly/unit labour cost

Submission → review → approval

After the application is submitted, it will reach the management of the company and be assigned to the responsible service, which will assess the possibility of resolving the request and scheduling it for execution.

What documents must the citizen prepare?ExpandCollapse
  • Application stamped by the residents’ association, where the applicant lives in an apartment block.
  • If the applicant is a natural person, the application shall be filled in on their own behalf, indicating their identification details.
  • The application shall include the tax code of the relevant association.
  • The application is registered with the registry of SC SGU Ploiești SRL, located at Strada Văleni no. 44.
  • Following the application submitted to SC SGU Ploiești SRL, the applicant must wait for a positive or negative response from the authority. For each approved application for the felling and trimming of trees, a fee of 32 lei/approval is charged in accordance with the legal acts in force.

Documents required for owners’ associations: standard application form completed by the chairperson/administrator of the owners’ association. The application is submitted at the company registry (str. Văleni no. 44) or sent by email (scanned document) to: secretariat@sguploiesti.ro

*If the applicant is a natural person owning private property, they shall complete the standard application form designed for this category of persons, without having to submit the table with signatures.

*If the applicant is a legal person, they shall complete the application form designed for legal persons (associations’ standard form link), without having to submit the table with signatures.

Following the processing of the application by the staff of the relevant service, applicants will receive a response regarding the interventions to be carried out.

In advance, in the case of owners’ associations, the conditions provided in HCL no. 57/2023 and HCL no. 56/2006 must be met  (payment of the fee corresponding to the works approval, as well as the table containing the consent of 50%+1 of the residents).
