Traffic Restrictions in the City Centre Following the Rescheduling of the Festive Lights Switch-On for the Winter Holidays

The Municipal Commission for Transport and Traffic Safety has approved a series of traffic restrictions on Sunday, 30 November 2025, on the occasion of switching on the festive holiday lights and the opening of the Christmas Market, organised in the central area of the municipality, where a stage and an ice rink will be set up. 
 

The measures put in place to ensure the smooth running of these events are as follows:

–          traffic will be stopped on Sunday, 30 November 2025, between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., on Bulevardul Republicii, the section between Vasile Milea St. and Gheorghe Lazăr St., and on C. D. Gherea St., on the segment B-dul Republicii – Basarabilor St.

Please note that all traffic changes, whether temporary or permanent, are continuously updated in the WAZE navigation app.
