Santa Claus has arrived with a full sack at the municipality’s creative workshops

“Santa Claus’s Workshops” are organised by the Ploiești Municipality City Hall, especially for the children of Ploiești, in the period leading up to Christmas. The event brings together dozens of pupils in handmade craft workshops, designed to develop emotional expression and to give the little ones self-confidence and the joy of creating.

The artistic workshops are held every day this week in the foyer of the “Toma Caragiu” Theatre, in an interactive and entertaining way for the participating children, under the careful guidance of the visual artists of the “I.L. Caragiale” House of Culture of the Municipality of Ploiești.

Through play, colour and imagination, the pupils of the “Candiano Popescu” and “I.A. Bassarabescu” Secondary Schools experienced the joy of Christmas and made wonderful snowmen and wreaths full of fantasy.

The little ones’ authentic and colourful creations were rewarded with a small bag filled with tempting sweets that Santa Claus’s helpers had brought, ahead of time, to the workshops.
