Reorganisation of local public transport on the occasion of the events held on 25 October to celebrate Romanian Army Day

On the occasion of the events held on 25 October 2025 to celebrate “Romanian Army Day”, at the Riflemen’s Monument in the Gara de Sud area, the local public transport must be reorganised, between 09:40 and 10:45, as follows:

·       Routes running on B-dul Independenței will follow a detour between the Radu Stanian statue and Gara de Sud: on Bobâlna Street, on the lane towards South, where they will make stops at Pelican, Liceul de Muzică, respectively, on Democrației Street, on the lane of travel from South towards the City Centre, where stops will be made at 13 Decembrie, Covurlui and Muzeul de Istorie. 

·       Trolleybuses on routes 44 and 202 will be shortened to Hale Coreco. The connection between the City Centre and Gara de Sud will be made via the other routes running through the area.

·       On routes 1 and 30, on the lane towards the City Centre, buses will no longer enter Gara de Sud – after the Rulmenți Grei stop, the next stop will be 13 Decembrie/ Democrației.

·       Route 401 (on the lane towards the City Centre) from the Rulmenți Grei stop will go up the bridge and enter Prahova Value Centre, by descending on the access slip road, without entering Gara de Sud.

·       Route 32, on the lane towards the City Centre: buses will no longer enter Gara Sud; after the Pleiades stop, the next stop will be 13 Decembrie/ Democrației.  

·       Route 2: on the Gara de Vest – Prahova Value Centre lane, the route will run on Bobâlna Street, where stops will be made at Pelican and Liceul de Muzică. On the Prahova Value Centre – Gara de Vest lane, buses will no longer enter Gara Sud and will run directly on Democrației Street. After the Pleiades stop, the next stop will be 13 Decembrie on Democrației Street, then Covurlui and Muzeul de Istorie. Travellers from the Gara de Sud area who wish to reach the City Centre / West area will use the Gara de Sud stop (in front of the station).  For this purpose, travellers should remain in the bus that enters Prahova Value Centre and then continues on Democrației Street.

·       Route 444 will only run as far as Bariera București.

Depending on the directives of the Traffic Police, both the time interval and the specified detour routes may be modified.
