Primăria Municipiului Ploiești (Ploiești City Hall) has launched the open tender for the implementation of the projectREHABILITATION AND MODERNISATION OF MIHAI BRAVU STREET INCLUDING THE STRENGTHENING AND MODERNISATION OF THE TWO ROAD AND PEDESTRIAN OVERPASSES OVER THE RAILWAY ON MIHAI BRAVU STREET” – stage 1.

The works proposed under this investment project (stage 1) will include the removal of the tram lines and the asphalting of the corresponding roadway on Mihai Bravu street. This will ensure normal operating parameters of Mihai Bravu street, with the result that, following the implementation of the investment, road users will benefit from superior traffic conditions.

The strengthening of the two overpasses on this section of Mihai Bravu street is not included in stage 1 of this project, since the necessary funding cannot currently be secured. Consequently, the works to remove the tram rails at the level of the two bridges will not be carried out under stage 1.

The subject matter of the contract is the design and execution of all works and includes  the drafting of technical documentation and of all documents required to obtain approvals, authorisations and consents, the drafting of the technical project and of the execution details.

The duration of the contract is set at 21 months, and the deadline for the submission of bids is 11.02.2026.

The total estimated value of the procurement is 25,281,369.42 lei.

The investment, which will be carried out on Mihai Bravu street, will significantly improve road traffic and traffic flow, contributing at the same time to improving the quality of the urban environment and to the socio-economic development of the eastern area of Ploiești.
