The Ploiești municipality’s prize was awarded last evening at the “Autumn Salon”

The Autumn Salon is a long-standing exhibition in our city, the event being organized by the Union of Visual Artists of Romania, Ploiești branch, with the support of the City Hall of the Municipality.

It brings together established and emerging artists alike, being one of the most important cultural events in Ploiești. The Autumn Salon represents a benchmark cultural event, gathering artists of different generations who use various art techniques, such as painting, graphics, sculpture, ceramics, textiles, glass, and metal. 

This year, the City Hall of the Municipality of Ploiești awarded a prize, as a sign of recognition and appreciation, to the work “Autumn“, a creation of artist Mihnea Badea. The winning painting captures the rebellious beauty of autumn, captivating the viewer through the interesting juxtaposition of colours, depicting with emotion the artistic perfection of nature.

The prize of the City Hall of the Municipality of Ploiești, awarded as part of the current edition of the Autumn Salon, is worth 2,000 lei.

The Ploiești public is invited to discover, under the sign of joy and beauty, the story of contemporary art at the “Autumn Salon“, a benchmark exhibition that marks an important stage in the evolution of the participating artists.
