Clubul Sportiv Municipal Ploiești (Ploiești Municipal Sports Club) enters the 2026 competitions in force!

At the end of the week, several important matches are scheduled for the club’s junior teams:

  • Saturday, 10 January this year, U18 Juniors, National Group, Round 7: CS Agronomia Bucharest – CSM CSŞ BBA Petrolul Ploiești
  • Sunday, 11 January this year, U16 Juniors, National Group, Round 6: CSM CSŞ BBA Petrolul Ploiești – ABC Hoopers Ploiești

Also, this weekend, in Bucharest, the U13 team will participate in Tournament 1 of Phase II, Group D, with the following programme:

  • CSM BBA Petrolul Ploiești – CSM LPS Galați (Saturday)
  • CS Perform Mediaș – CSM BBA Petrolul Ploiești (Saturday)
  • CSM BBA Petrolul Ploiești – ACS Educație și Performanță prin Baschet Bucharest (Sunday).

We remind you that the second team of CSM BBA Petrolul Ploiești began the year with a high-scoring victory obtained, this week, against CSM CSU Oradea 2: 89-51 (25-21, 17-8, 26-15, 21-7). The match counted for the first round of Phase II of the League 1 championship, in which the Ploiești athletes play in the Satellite Teams Group.

The Clubul Sportiv Municipal Ploiești (Ploiești Municipal Sports Club) thus continues an intense competitive programme, focused on developing performance at all age levels.
