A new playground in Ploiești is being modernised with the support of Rompetrol

Ploiești City Hall has begun the redevelopment works of the playground located on Soldat Erou Arhip Nicolae Street.

The project aims to modernise and create a safe and attractive recreation space for children in the West neighbourhood, aged between 1 and 12.

Estimated investment value: 553,641 lei. Tartan-surfaced area: 285 sqm.

Equipment and amenities planned:

·         Carousel – 1 piece.

·         Table with benches – 1 piece.

·         Excavator vehicle – 1 piece.

·         Quadruple swing – 1 piece.

·         Set with three towers – 1 piece.

·         Spring rocker (helicopter and aeroplane) – 1 piece.

·         Park benches with backrests – 5 pieces.

·         Waste bins – 2 pieces.

·         Rules sign – 1 piece.

·         Coloured protective fence.

The works are being carried out with the support of ROMPETROL RAFINARE SA, which has thus responded to the needs of the Ploiești community. Rompetrol Rafinare operates the Vega Ploiești Refinery, the longest-running production unit in the country (this year celebrating 120 years).

This investment contributes to creating a friendlier and safer urban environment for children, while also encouraging socialisation, physical activity and spending time outdoors.
