The Mayor of Ploiești, Mihai Polițeanu, signed the works execution contract for the modernisation of the sports facilities at “Lazăr Edeleanu” Technological High School

The works contractor is S.C. ATLAS SPORT S.R.L, which will also provide design services, technical assistance from the designer and technical verification.

The deadline for the provision of services and execution of works is 7 months, namely:

·         1 month for the design service;

·         6 months for the execution of works;

The municipality’s investment project aims to revitalise the existing outdoor space, transforming it into an area of fields and play, adapted to current requirements of use, safety and comfort.

The project provides for the construction of a modern and multifunctional sports facility, which will include:

·         two basketball courts;

·         a handball court;

·         a football pitch;

·         two table tennis tables;

·         floodlight installation.

We are thus building a safe, accessible and attractive space, both for pupils and for the community. 

The sports facility belonging to “Lazăr Edeleanu” Technological High School will be open to the public, outside of school hours and at weekends, providing a new area of recreation and exercise for the community.

The investment value is 2,896,346.20 lei, plus VAT at the legal rate.
