Let’s build the new Skatepark together, in Ploiești!

The Mayor of Ploiești, Mihai Polițeanu, informs the local community that, together with NEPI Rockcastle and Shopping City Ploiești, efforts continue for the construction of the new Skatepark in the West Municipal Park.

Following almost 500 responses received in the previous questionnaire, the project, dedicated to the local community of skaters, rollers and BMX riders, will continue with a public consultation session, in which the ideas, needs and proposals of the community regarding the development of the skatepark will be discussed.

Thus, on Wednesday, 22 October 2025, we invite all Ploiești residents wishing to be part of this novel initiative to the headquarters of Ploiești City Hall, at 1A Eroilor Square, but only after completing the registration form: https://urbanizehub.typeform.com/to/pQTIyFOa.

Through this project, we want the Ploiești skatepark to become a safe, modern and representative space for young people passionate about urban sports.
