The “Ion Luca Caragiale” House of Culture of the Municipality of Ploiești organizes the 23rd edition of the “Iulia Hașdeu” National Poetry Competition – a cultural project dedicated to high-school students (day classes) from Romania

Registration of participants is carried out exclusively online, between 1-8 October 2025. The form may be accessed from the institution’s social media pages (Facebook, Instagram) and from the official website: https://casadecultura.ro. 

Participants may submit between 3 and 5 of their own poems, written in Times New Roman, font size 12, with diacritics, single-spaced, each poem being signed.

The competition remains faithful to its mission of discovering and promoting talented young people, offering them the chance to become acquainted with the work and personality of Iulia Hașdeu, as well as with the fascinating history of the Hașdeu family.

The awards ceremony will take place on 21 October 2025, at 12:00, at the headquarters of the “Ion Luca Caragiale” House of Culture of the Municipality of Ploiești (Piața Eroilor no. 1A, 7th floor).

Winners will be rewarded with diplomas and cash prizes.
