Changes to the local public transport schedule in Ploiești, starting 1 January 2026

Starting on 1 January 2026, the local public transport schedule in the municipality of Ploiești will be modified, in accordance with Hotărârea Consiliului Local al Municipiului Ploiești (Decision of the Local Council of the Municipality of Ploiești) no. 671/27.11.2025, regarding the approval of Annex no. 2 to the Contract for the delegation of management of the local public transport service.

The changes to Ploiești’s urban routes will be the following:

·         1/21 – Shortening of the route to Armoniei (the Centru – ASTRA/COMAT segment is removed); the daily number of scheduled trips increases.

·         2 – Change of frequency on weekdays.

·         4/4 barat – Merging of route schedules and removal of the Centru – Gara de Vest segment.

·         25 rapid – Removed from the schedule.

·         28 – Only one and a half trips remain, in the morning, on weekdays.

·         30 – Change of frequency on weekdays and Saturdays/Sundays.

·         32 / 32s – Shortening of the route at Gara de Sud and extension of the route to pass via ASTRA/COMAT.

·         35 – Change of frequency on weekdays.

·         35 barat – Change of frequency on weekdays.

·         36 – Only one and a half trips remain, in the morning, on weekdays.

·         40 – Change of frequency on weekdays and Saturdays/Sundays.

·         42 – Removed from the schedule.

·         44 – Change of frequency on weekdays.

·         44 barat – Only one trip remains, in the morning, on weekdays.

·         48, 52, 53, 54 – Removed from the schedule.

·         101 – Change of frequency on weekdays and Saturdays/Sundays.

·         102 – Change of frequency on weekdays and Saturdays/Sundays.

·         106 – Removed from the schedule.

·         202 – Change of frequency on weekdays and Saturdays/Sundays.

·         300, 301, 302, 304 – Removal of the midday trip (subscribers can travel by combining the other local routes and route 307).

·         303 – Removal of the midday trip (subscribers can travel by combining other local routes and route 307); The terminus moves to Spitalul Județean (County Hospital), instead of Radu de la Afumați.

·         305, 306 – Removed from the schedule.

·         307 – Additional services on weekdays.

·         402 – Extension of the route to the COCOȘ II Commercial Complex (the extended trips represent route 402b).

Travelers who used the discontinued or modified routes will be able to travel by using combinations of operating local routes. Schedules can be consulted on the transport operator’s website at: www.ratph.ro

We recommend that travelers consult the new schedules in advance and plan their journeys accordingly.
