Bus route 40 barat returns to service at the weekend, starting 4 April 2026

The Ploiești City Hall informs citizens that, beginning Saturday, 4 April this year, Ploiești residents will have easy access to the „Constantin Stere” Memorial Park in Bucov, via public bus route 40 barat.

This route will run on Saturdays and Sundays, between 9:00 – 19:00, on the route Catedrală Market – „Constantin Stere” Memorial Park (at the roundabout at the intersection of DN 1B with Refractării Street).

Route and stops for line 40 barat:

  • Direction towards Constantin Stere Memorial Park:
  • Emile Zola Streets – Erou Călin Cătălin – Ștefan Greceanu – Neagoe Basarab – Buzăului – Poștei – Ștrandului – DN 1B (at the roundabout at the intersection of DN 1B with Refractării Street);
  • Stops to be served: Catedrală Market, Sf. Vineri, Obor Park, Bereasca Complex, Ștrand, S.C. Aldini, Bucov Entrance.
  • Direction towards Catedrală Market:
  • D.N.1B Streets (at the roundabout at the intersection of DN 1B with Refractarii Street) – Ștrandului – Gh. Doja – Poștei – Buzăului – Neagoe Basarab – Gh. Doja – Văleni – Emile Zola;
  • Stops to be served: Bucov Entrance, Ștrand, Bereasca Complex, Forum Hotel, Sf. Vineri, and Catedrală Market – for disembarkation.

Please note that, for direct access to the Bereasca neighbourhood, route 40, with the route Catedrală Market – Bereasca and return, with entry through Bereasca, should be used. This public route can be used between 5:30 – 23:12.
