Extension of the Term of Contracts for Spaces with a Use Other Than Housing

Extension of the term of contracts concluded for spaces with a use other than housing, signed with legal entities or natural persons, for the periods established by decisions of the Local Council of the Municipality of Ploiești.

What is the applicable legislation?

  • Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) no. 26/2000 with subsequent amendments and additions concerning associations and foundations
  • Law no. 334/2006 on the financing of political parties’ activity and electoral campaigns, republished
  • Law on Political Parties no. 14/2003, republished
  • Government Decision no. 884 of 3 June 2004 on the concession of spaces designated as medical offices, with subsequent amendments and additions

What steps must the citizen follow?ExpandCollapse

  • Submission of the request to extend the contract term, together with documents proving up-to-date payment of the contributions to the common expenses related to the building/owners’ association and of the public utilities owed for the use of the non-residential space,
  • The activity report in the case of associations and foundations, in accordance with the provisions of art. 350, para. (2), letter b) of the Administrative Code,
  • Authorisation issued by the Prahova College of Physicians in the case of doctors

Verification: the person handling the file

Approval: submission of the file for review by the Commission for the analysis and allocation of spaces with a use other than housing of the Local Council of the Municipality of Ploiești and, where appropriate, initiation of the draft decision to be submitted for approval by the Local Council of the Municipality of Ploiești.

What documents must the citizen prepare?ExpandCollapse

The application shall be accompanied by documents proving up-to-date payment of the contribution shares to the common expenses related to the building or proof of payment of the obligations arising from the contribution share to the owners’ association expenses and the public utilities owed for the use of the non-residential space, as well as the activity report in the case of associations and foundations, in accordance with the provisions of art. 350, para. (2), letter b) of the Administrative Code, and authorisation issued by the Prahova College of Physicians in the case of doctors

Documents may be submitted in person at the Town Hall Registry at Piața Eroilor no. 1 A (municipality headquarters – ground floor) or by post.
