New Sports Hall at "Virgil Madgearu" Economic College Ploiești

The Ploiești Municipality informs the local community that today, the reception was carried out upon the completion of the works for the investment objective “Construction of a school physical education hall at the “Virgil Madgearu” Economic College”.

The implementing authority for the project was the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, through the National Investment Company “C.N.I.” S.A.

We remind you that the Ploiești municipality submitted to the National Investment Company “C.N.I.” S.A. an application for the inclusion of this investment in the National Programme for Constructions of Public or Social Interest, the “Sports Halls” Subprogramme, which was subsequently included on the synthesis list of the “Sports Halls” subprogramme, approved by Order of M.D.R.A.P.

In this context, the Local Council of the Ploiești Municipality provided financing from the local budget for the execution of works for connections to utilities (electricity, water, sewerage, gas).

The total value of the works for this new school physical education hall, including equipment, is 2,735,000.00 lei, of which 285,000.00 lei were allocated from the local budget of the Ploiești Municipality.

The “Virgil Madgearu” Economic College in Ploiești thus benefits from a new sports hall, built in accordance with the current safety standards and quality regulations, a modern space that will provide students with optimal conditions for school sports activities.
