The „Sfântul Apostol Andrei” Services Technological High School in Ploiești will receive funding for the energy modernisation of its sports hall!

The Ploiești City Hall has secured another funding award for the modernisation of educational infrastructure in our city.

On 30.03.2026, the signing of the financing contract for the project “Energy Efficiency Upgrade – Sfântul Apostol Andrei Services Technological High School in the Municipality of Ploiești” was finalised, between AM PRSM – the South Muntenia Regional Development Agency (ADR Sud Muntenia) – in its capacity as Managing Authority for the South Muntenia Regional Programme – and the Municipality of Ploiești.

The funding application was submitted under the South-Muntenia Regional Programme 2021-2027, Priority: P2 – A region with environmentally friendly cities, Specific Objective: RSO 2.1. – Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Operation C – Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions through investments in public buildings.

The general objective of the project is the reduction of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions for the sports hall of the „Sfântul Apostol Andrei” Services Technological High School, through the implementation of energy-efficient measures.

The total value of the project is 3,548,998.39 lei, of which the maximum non-reimbursable amount is 2,211,908.05 lei.

The implementation period of the project is 20 months from the date of signing the financing contract, with the possibility of extension, without exceeding the date of 31.12.2029.

Through the implementation of this project, the aim is to increase the energy efficiency of public buildings, as well as to improve the conditions for the use of the educational infrastructure of the „Sfântul Apostol Andrei” Services Technological High School in Ploiești.Together we are taking important steps towards a modern, efficient, and sustainable educational system!
