The Municipal Commission for Transport and Traffic Safety has approved the request of Invictus România regarding the organization of the volunteer project supporting Romanian military personnel wounded in recent NATO operations – The INVICTUS Veterans Relay, on 5 October 2025.

This year, the INVICTUS Veterans Relay, now in its 12th edition, will depart from the Municipality of Ploiești toward Breaza by running or by bicycle. Participants will include veterans, civilians, gendarmes, children, police officers, pupils and students, active military personnel, representatives of the ISU (Emergency Situations Inspectorate) and SALVAMONT (mountain rescue).

The relay route will be the following: Gara de Sud (South Railway Station) → Bulevardul Independenței → Primăria Municipiului Ploiești (City Hall – Cathedral roundabout) → Bulevardul Republicii → Șoseaua Nordului (McDonald’s Ploiești Nord ⁓ 7 km) → Găgeni Street (alongside the County Hospital ⁓ 7.4 km) → Păulești → Găgeni (⁓ 3.5 km) → Băicoi (crosses Găgeni toward Băicoi ⁓ 16 km) → exit onto DN 1 (the 45th parallel) → Câmpina (crosses Băicoi toward Câmpina ⁓ 16.6 km) → Cornu (intersection with Breaza) → Breaza (from the entrance ⁓ 10.4 km) → The Military High School of Breaza (⁓ 2 km within the locality).

The starting time of the relay is 09:30, with participants expected to leave the Municipality of Ploiești around 11:00.
