Ploiești resident Maria Petrescu – 100 years of faith, love and willpower!

Today we have the honour of celebrating a new centenarian of the Ploiești community, Mrs. Maria Petrescu, born in the village of Gornet and over time a respected and beloved figure among her acquaintances.

Living a life of dignity and faith, Mrs. Maria Petrescu grew up in Ploiești alongside her parents and her three sisters. She worked diligently until her marriage, when, alongside her husband, she decided to dedicate herself wholeheartedly to raising their four sons.

She has been the pillar of a united family and an example of kindness and wisdom for everyone around her. Throughout her life she was appreciated  for her kindness, her willingness to help the elderly and her wise advice.

Mrs. Maria Petrescu has always remained close to God, through prayer and a luminous soul. She loves Ploiești dearly and has constantly devoted herself to her family and the community to which she belongs.

Today, on her venerable 100th birthday, representatives of Ploiești City Hall visited the home of the celebrant to present her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a festive cake, an anniversary diploma, as well as a gift in the value of 2,000 lei.

Happy birthday, Mrs. Maria Petrescu! May your days be serene, surrounded by the love of your dear ones and by the respect of all of us, the people of Ploiești!
