INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS, INTERNATIONALLY FUNDED PROJECTS, NGO AND PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION SERVICE

Brief description

The service coordinates the international relations of the Municipality of Ploiești, partnerships and twinnings, collaboration with NGOs and activities related to internationally funded/non-reimbursable projects.

Indicative legal basis: GEO no. 57/2019 (Administrative Code), HCL (Local Council Decision) no. 280/28.06.2024 (ROF), as well as the special acts applicable to each field.

Main responsibilities

Initiates and manages cooperation and twinning relations with local authorities at home and abroad; organizes official visits and events.

Identifies external funding opportunities and supports the preparation of applications (partnerships, consortia, budgets).

Monitors and supports the implementation of internationally funded/non-reimbursable projects, together with the technical structures.

Maintains contact with local NGOs and international partners; facilitates public consultation and partnership projects.

Provides reporting to the institution’s management and to funders, in accordance with the requirements of the programs.
