DIRECTORATE FOR COMMUNICATION, PUBLIC RELATIONS AND EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
Brief description
The Directorate for Communication, Public Relations and Emergency Situations has the role of ensuring the information of citizens, public relations, internal communication at the institutional level, as well as external communication with other institutions of the local and central administrative apparatus, external bodies, etc., and coordinates civil protection measures at the institutional level. We represent the interface of the local administration for the citizens of the municipality, in relation to the Local Council and the other structures of the City Hall, in compliance with the legislation in force and the Organisation and Functioning Regulation approved by HCL (Local Council Decision) no. 280/28.06.2024.

Main responsibilities
Public information and communication: monitoring of website content in accordance with the provisions of Law 544/2001; drafting, transmission and publication, on and through dedicated applications and pages on social networks, of press releases regarding the activity of the local public administration; relations with the media and citizens, organising hearings for the management of the Ploiești executive; ensuring decision-making transparency; press review of articles reflecting the activity of the local administration and, where appropriate, requesting the right of reply; organising and publishing the Local Official Gazette (Law no. 544/2001 on free access to information of public interest, O.G. 27/2001 (Government Ordinance) on the regulation of the activity of resolving petitions, Law 52/2003 on decision-making transparency in public administration, Government Emergency Ordinance 57/2019 on the Administrative Code and other duties as appropriate).

Single point of contact and assistance for administrative procedures with the public.
Organising public events of the municipality.
Occupational health and safety; civil protection and preparedness for emergency situations (Law no. 481/2004).
Administration of the IT infrastructure (in collaboration with internal structures).
Indicative legal basis: Government Emergency Ordinance no. 57/2019 (Administrative Code), Local Council Decision no. 280/28.06.2024 (ROF – Organisation and Functioning Regulation), other special acts applicable to the field.
