Brief description

The Public Administration, Legal–Litigation, Public Procurement, Contracts Directorate is responsible for providing legal and administrative support to the institution, the relationship with the Local Council and the conduct of public procurement and contracts. It exercises duties, in accordance with the law and the Organization and Functioning Regulation, in order to achieve the public interest.

Main responsibilities

Preparing Local Council meetings, communicating and archiving administrative acts (mayor’s dispositions and local council decisions), managing community service work mandates and assigning offenders.

Counseling and control in the field of owners’ associations and energy efficiency.

Counseling, assistance and representation of the institution before the courts, as well as in the relationship with public authorities and other entities, in accordance with the legislation in force.

Planning and conducting public procurement procedures and direct procurement, concluding contracts/framework agreements and addenda (Law no. 98/2016).

Managing the contracts archive and associated records.
