  • Citizens of Ploiești, between 31 October and 2 November 2025, our city becomes a landmark for digital art!

The Palace of Culture will be brought to life through video-mapping projections by Adrian Manolescu (Adistu), Ákos Zemba and H3 Studio — visual creations that reinterpret scores and motifs from Bach, Mozart and Beethoven, expanded through digital processing, artificial intelligence and visual algorithms.

The video-mapping shows take place between 20:00 and 22:00, offering audiences an impressive nighttime experience.

At the same time, the Prahova County Museum of Natural Sciences will host daily, between 09:00 and 17:00, art and technology installations by RIZI Studio, H3 Studio, Dan Adrian Ionescu and Pastila Roz, offering immersive trails in which Debussy, Ravel and Satie take shape through kinetic art and experimental visual concepts.

The cultural project Lumina Noctis is built on the encounter between heritage and technology as a form of cultural education in public space, in an open format, with no tickets and no participation barriers.

In addition to the nighttime shows, the programme features guided tours (1–2 November), unveiling the secrets of the digital arts and how classical music can be transposed into visual language. The event also includes a public discussion with artists, dedicated to young people passionate about the creative industries, exploring new forms of artistic expression, the applications of digital technologies in art and the opportunities for professional development in this field.

Lumina Noctis: The Great Classics in a New Light – a project carried out by the Ploiești City Hall, in partnership with the AMURAL Association — a festival that brings classical music into dialogue with contemporary visual technologies.
