Refurbishment works for the playground located at the intersection of Tudor Vladimirescu and Popa Farcaș Streets, a project carried out with the support of Rompetrol
The investment has an estimated value of 491,207.55 lei and is part of the Ploiești Municipality City Hall’s programme for modernizing public spaces dedicated to leisure for children and the community.
The equipment provided under this project:

Classic two-spring seesaw – 1 unit
Spring figurine seesaw – 1 unit
Tables for chess/backgammon – 3 units
Fitness equipment – 3 units
Round bench – 1 unit
Wooden benches on metal supports – 11 units
Metal bins – 7 units
Wooden octagonal gazebo – 1 unit
Information board – 1 unit
Swing for persons with disabilities – 1 unit
Fitness training bars – 1 unit

Installation of a layer of poured tartan in the play area for children’s safety.
The works are being carried out with the support of ROMPETROL RAFINARE SA, through the “Dăruiește Aripi” Association.
In Ploiești, the Rompetrol Group operates the Vega Refinery, the longest-running unit of its kind in Romania, with 120 years of experience, a refinery that has evolved from a classic unit, focused on crude oil processing, into a producer and supplier of special, value-added products, obtained exclusively from semi-finished materials supplied by the Petromidia refinery. At the same time, Rompetrol has a significant presence in the downstream sector as well, with eight fuel distribution stations in Prahova County.
By carrying out this investment, the Ploiești public administration aims to create a safe, attractive and inclusive space, intended for both children and persons of all ages, contributing constantly to improving the quality of life in the community.
