Ploiești City Hall informs citizens that an event eagerly awaited by all lovers of beauty has opened its gates in the civic centre of the city.
This is the Mărțișor Fair (the traditional spring trinket fair), which will transform the central area of Ploiești – namely the pedestrian space in front of the Prahova County Council – into a fairytale-like place, where exhibitors, hosted in 30 charming little stalls, will proudly display the fruits of their own sensibility and creativity.
A true display of good taste, colour and imagination that we invite you not only to view, but also to bring home these small symbols announcing the season we have all been waiting for.
The specially set up fair will thus be more than just a place to visit; it will be a space where the city’s residents are invited to enjoy the beauty of delicate mărțișoare and to carry on the tradition of giving them. It is an occasion to support local artists, to discover special items and to offer loved ones symbols of spring.
