The Ploiești City Hall continues the cleaning and maintenance programme of green spaces in the residential block area!

The activities are carried out through the Serviciul Spații Verzi (Green Spaces Department) within S.C. Servicii de Gospodărire Urbană Ploiești S.R.L., a municipal body that implements the cleaning and maintenance programme for green spaces, including in the residential block areas of Ploiești.

The programme includes the following types of works:

  • clearing the ground of leaves and branches;
  • collecting paper and other waste;
  • gathering branches resulting from ground clearing;
  • loading and transporting the resulting plant waste;
  • other specific maintenance and sanitation activities for green spaces.

The works carried out are reported daily in the work programmes of the Green Spaces Department, in order to monitor and track how activities are conducted.

This week, cleaning works are scheduled within the perimeter of the residential blocks in the following areas:

  • 13 Decembrie Street with Democrației – Blocks no. G1, 2, 3, 4F, E, D;
  • Jianu Street – Blocks A, B, C1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9;
  • Milcov, B.P. Hașdeu, Libelulei Streets – Blocks no. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10;
  • Malu Roșu neighbourhood – Erou Sergent Gh. Mateescu, Malu Roșu, Deltei, Aleea Școlii Streets;
  • Cameliei Street – Blocks no. 42, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 40, 39, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 33, 21, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 29, 25, 70, 69, 68, 67, 66, 24, 71, 23, 134, 135, 136, 133, 132, 137, 138, 117, 123, 122, 129, 130, 118, 112.

Between 1-7 April this year, a tree-whitewashing campaign for trees on public domain land in all neighbourhoods of the city will also be launched in the Municipality of Ploiești.

 The works are intended to protect the trees against pests, prevent the appearance of diseases, and contribute to improving the aesthetics of urban spaces.

The cleaning and maintenance programme of green areas around the residential blocks may be subject to changes depending on unfavourable weather conditions or other unforeseen situations that may affect the conduct of the works.
