The Ploiești City Hall organised the Handmade Workshop dedicated to children with disabilities, an event that brought together smiles, creativity, and warm-hearted people – children, parents, and therapists.

The event was organised to mark:

  • World Down Syndrome Day (21 March);
  • World Autism Awareness Day (2 April).

Together with the staff of the “Ion Luca Caragiale” House of Culture of the Municipality of Ploiești, the children enjoyed wonderful moments, savouring every minute spent together and the magic of handcrafting.

Mrs Prof. Ramona Ghețiu, Deputy Director of the “Spiru Haret” College Ploiești, also took part in the activity and offered a sweet surprise to the participants.

A special gesture came from the students of the “Anghel Saligny” Technological High School Ploiești who, accompanied by their coordinating teachers, offered pencil cases specially made for the children, bringing them great joy and emotion.

Inclusion begins with a gesture, with acceptance and friendship!

Together for the local community we all want!
