The music of Beethoven returns to the stage of the „Ion Baciu” Hall of the „Paul Constantinescu” Philharmonic on Wednesday, 8 April 2026, on the occasion of an extraordinary symphonic concert. The conductor’s podium will be taken by Ciprian Marinescu, while the soloist of the evening will be violinist Bogdan Zvorișteanu, who will perform one of the most famous and beloved scores written for this instrument: the Concerto in D major for violin and orchestra, op. 61. With its expansive lyricism, its passages of great nobility, and its balance between expressiveness and virtuosity, this work remains one of the emblematic creations of Beethoven’s repertoire.

In the second part of the evening, the Symphony Orchestra of the “Paul Constantinescu” Philharmonic in Ploiești will perform Symphony No. 7, op. 92, a true masterpiece, famous for its overflowing energy, its unmistakable rhythmic pulse, and the force with which it captivates the audience from the very first measures.

We invite you to enjoy the music of the “Titan of Bonn” in a programme that highlights both his profound, lyrical side and the vitality of his music.
